Wooohooo
 - just this week I got the notice of somebody dropping out at running the London Marathon for my funding body here in the UK, the Brain Research Trust ...

This Trust sponsors excellent science targeted at improving patient´ s care & therapy in different sorts of neurological conditions at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London.

Working with patients myself, I am constantly reminded of the privilege being able to run & move freely, so of course I would fill the gap & commit myself to trying and finishing the marathon.

This means:
Raising a minimum of 2000 pounds in a short time & finally GETTING FIT ...

I would be very, very happy, if you could support me in this, just by joining me on runs, keeping up my motivation, or a small donation directly to the Trust. For more information, please click here:

Any kind of ideas to fundraise more money is more than welcome - so please get in touch!

As 2012 ended quite disenchanting & unsettling at my return to London

I undertook a two-day photographic journey through London life to celebrate the transition towards a different 2013.
The journey turned out to be quite emblematic & I could not help to see some
New Year s resolutions in different scenes.

It is up to every contemplator of these pages what the images arouse,
just one thing is clear:

I wish you all a "good" new year 2013!

... goals to reach for eternal rising or just to fall again ...

... trying to smile through all the dirt ...

... yeeeees ....

... still ...

... London is cheesy ... It just depends on your angle of looking at it ...

... the sun will always be ... at least somewhere ...

... and so will good friends too. No matter how hard times are and what is coming ahead (-:

And I still believe there ARE a lot of miracles out there:
Just have a look at me who got unexpectedly visited by (a pretty tamed version of) The Loch Ness Monster on the morning of New Year s Day,
while contemplating my life and enjoying the sun in the neighbourhood of Brixton ...

... So just keep calm & keep on smiling ...
