London (From) Under Water

After some tumultuous time in Germany with intense water contact as some cities had been hit pretty badly by their rivers bursting the banks I have now come back to London to enjoy more water:

Lately I get a pretty intense view of London from under water, having joined the "polar bears" at the Serpentine.
Even though still waiting for colder weather and the real challenges this is a great forum to get further involved in long-distance- and open-water-swimming with some interesting people ...

Many of them aim for the Channel, and who knows where this will take me?
I am quite relieved that I would not have to worry about "anti-shark-cages"
or crazy jellyfishes too much there
but I also just got informed that the good old Bodensee is still not crossed successfully in its 64 k-trajectory.
Anyway,
there are so many beautiful places to swim and enjoy out there without the need of getting too crazy ...
For now I am enjoying my mornings at the lake
and also recently some of my evenings at the river ...
