Being Above Things
or
London From A Distance

Bank Holidays are great ...
I just assumed that they are there to grab good friends and spend some time out of London to think about things,
but I had not expected THIS:

Excellent weather ...

... interesting stone formations along the way (-:

... such sweet and uncomplaining company ...

                    ... a lot of ...

... sarcastic security ...

... a full, but pretty shy moon ...

... seven charming sisters ...

... a lot of training for crossing the Channel
(YES! I am still thinking about doing it one day...) ...

... and a final victory (see lower part of the picture) ...

... which felt like (but actually did not involve) FLYING ...

I am so grateful for these last days,
and even though it did not feel like it at all:

We have actually been to
the end of the world, I guess!!!!!

On the Go: Further London Discoveries

Since having my bike in London I feel like a new person:

Old borders and fences seem to disappear ...

... and I am out there, in the blue.

It is just amazing to how many places my
bike takes me and my inquisitiveness.

Especially in springtime, biking in and around London is beautiful ...

I discover new, "far away" STIKs,

... drink "The Best Coffee" in Town (-:

... fall in love with old CARS (even though strictly speaking in principle not possible for me),

and discover the Greenwich- and Thames-Barrier-Area as my new and so far favourite
"Naherholungsgebiet".

I had not imagined the Thames-Barrier to look like this here though:

Anyway -

without getting stressed by the famous clock(s),

... I can observe the crazyness of the city from far up,

just before diving deep into its diversity again and again ...
