And again

Sorry to assert, but I am just too much in love with London's Streets and above all London's Street Art
to not share another blog post on my discoveries during my walks through London:

... Different faces behind every facade ...

... people at the edge ...

... illusions ...

... living in bubbles, yet unawakened ...

... and daily deceptions to trash ...

... I tried to save the world but no one let me ...

Really?

Especially, I love this artist and would love to further discuss and communicate this work:

This text below makes my world shake and profoundly reminds me of Rainer Maria Rilke' s poem "Einsamkeit" (which he wrote in Paris though):

I wonder whether this is inspired/taken from Alice in Wonderland as well - have to read it again, more attentive this time, I reckon ...

I would love to see more of this person

and her/his bliss!

Probably a bit more simplistic, but I can also see the point of these artists:

Very challenging, but I will try:

And finally, I am trying to slow down time as you see,

unsuccessfully though. There are less than 4 weeks till the marathon, and some good pounds left to raise, so if you want to keep me running:

London by Night

Just yesterday I had my first night photography course.
Location:

The Heron Tower
...

I picked this 755 ft tall giant in the heart of the City of London as I thought it might be the only one
capable to compensate for this beginner´s photography experiment ... (-:
So in this post you will for the first time find photos that are shot by me with a proper camera, and not with my random camera phone which produced my pictures of all previous posts:

Struggling with the tower's glassy facade and its sophisticated architecture throughout the evening made it finally possible to obtain St. Paul´s Cathedral AND the Tower of London on ONE photograph (BEFORE (!) using Photoshop), even though both are located at the edge of nearly opposite directions with my base, the Heron Tower, in the middle.

In this picture above you can see 'the Gherkin' in the fore right with the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London in the background. This 591 ft tall building looks actually quite small and tiny if you can look down on it from the Heron Tower ...

... the far-away shard still looks pretty massive though and glass reflections are persistent ...

... I assume life is about perspectives again.

The nice surroundings, the abundant amount of camera targets and the impressive view made it quite impossible to leave ...

... even though I was looking forward to the ride in this superspeedy lift again since I rode it up at the beginning of the evening
 -
it is really fun!
Even the best camera cannot convey this, I guess. But I gave it a try, of course:

The following photograph might create the impression of the next morning´s sunrise:

Unfortunately, staying for so long was not possible ... And most of this picture' s brightness in the background is triggered by the massive light pollution this crazy city creates anyhow ...
It' s incredible.

After this night of experimenting I am again really, really, really tempted to treat myself with a real photocamera. Let' s see ...
